Greetings
My name is MaryLou; my husband's name is Doug. This website is our home on the web. Our former website provided a photographic journey through the building of our log home and I have incorporated those pictures plus narrative in this website. However, the newest materials, and the reasons for a major overhaul of the website, are thefamily histories.
Doug and I have been interested in history and genealogy for many years but only in the last few years have I had the time to concentrate on tracing our families back through the ages. Last year, I took a break from outside employment so I could work on the famiy histories. I have found a great deal of information; by placing this information on a website, I am hoping to stimulate others to study their own family histories. After all, the past heavily influences who we are and what we do in the present and in the future.
